DIRECTOR AND ASSISTANT DIRECTORS
Having combined their voices in the quartet, Four Times a Lady," for over ten years, Donna Dudgeon and Susan Baldeschwiler now combine their talents in directing the chorus; Donna as director of the chorus and Susan as assistant director.
Donna has been a member of Sweet Adelines for over 30 years. She is a natural leader and brings along with her own special style, energy and a sense of humor. She works constantly to improve herself and us by attending international directors’ seminars and regional workshops. We appreciate her dedication, her talent and the time she spends with us more than we can say.
On a personal note, Donna retired recently as the secretary of the Communication Department at Denison University. She and husband, Lyle, reside in Newark and have three grown children and five grandchildren.
Susan, on the other hand, is a charter member of the Dogwood Blossoms Chorus. If there is a committee, she has been on it. She sings bass in the chorus and was on the choreography team from it inception 20 years ago. She is now putting her energy and creativity into this new position as assistant director. We appreciate her many years of support and dedication.
Susan is an administrative assistant to the Provost at Kenyon College, resides in Mount Vernon with husband, Fred, and has two grown children.
Donna and Susan would like to thank Karen Burgess for her assistance when needed and always being there in a pinch
