Dogwood Blossoms Chorus was also recognized for having 67% of our membership in attendance and for increasing our membership by 16% over 2009. Great job!
WELCOME to Betty Ryan, who was voted into membership in December! Betty is also a member of Scioto Valley Chorus (Region 4) and we are very glad to have her with us!
December happenings: An "auction" at our Christmas dinner earned enough revenue to provide one full scholarship to Harmony Camp for a local girl. We hope to find funding for more scholarships. Sixteen of us enjoyed dinner and fellowship at Allison's Finer Diner in Mt. Vernon after caroling on the 12th; what fun! What shall we do after the next caroling? :)
WELCOME to our 3 new members... Laraine, Marcia and Terri... who joined our chorus last summer after attending our singing lesson program! We are very glad to have you with us!
A "friends and family" picnic was held at The Olde Mill in Utica on September 12. THANK YOU to the members who arranged and planned the event! The many members who attended had a great time!

Dogwood Blossoms is proud to announce the awarding of FIVE full scholarships to area girls to Harmony Camp this summer. We were also instrumental in arranging 2 partial scholarships. Congratulations to our scholarship recipients!
